I’ve been a fan of the Nature2 system for well over 10 years. As long as I follow startup procedures, I’ve never had a problem with my pool going “bad” (i.e., algae growth, cloudy, etc.). And that’s when others in my area are complaining about how hard it is to maintain a pool. Once the Nature2 is up and running, I only need to run my pump/filter 4-6 hours daily, vacuum once a week, shock with a non-chlor shock once a week and make sure I keep a 3″ hockey puck in the skimmer basket. I don’t even bother testing the water, because it always stays in range. I have a 16K gallon pool, fairly heavy use and I’ve never had a problem even during sustained 90+ degree periods. And because I use the low-chlorine recipe provided by Nature2, no chlorine smell, no funky hair, etc.
Finding it at a great price at Amazon this year just made it a much sweeter deal!

We have a small lap pool (with a swim current on one end) and we use Nature2 cartridges to keep the need for chlorine down. It really works great in doing so. The smell of chlorine is so faint and barely even noticeable. The only catch is that you need to be sure that you replace the Nature2 cartridges regularly as we forgot to do so a few times and found a purplish residue in the pool which seemed to be caused by the Nature2 cartridges being in there way too long.
