Polaris Vac-Sweep® 165 is designed to be quick and easy-to-use in-ground pool cleaner. The Polaris 165 vacuums the bottom and sweeps the sides of any size vinyl or fiberglass in-ground pool. It does this in three hours or less, even if you have an uneven-bottom pool up to eight feet deep. The Polaris 165 is designed to operate with the pumps and filtration systems normally found in in-ground pools. The Polaris Vac-Sweep® 165 uses a patented jet sweep assembley. It blows water against the pool wall to loosen debris in hard-to-reach places, like behind the pool ladder. The debris is then blown the the jets into an easy-to-remove bag. The Polaris Vac-Sweep® 165 is one of the few cleaners powered by the pressure of clean water returning to your pool. It's unique filter bag removes any debris before it reaches your pump basket or filter. This alone can reduce filter cleaning by up to 80% a year, thus prolonging the life of your filtration system. With the Polaris Vac-Sweep® 165, your filter is free to cleanse the water, and your skimmer is ready to clean the top six inches of your pool where 75% of the bacteriological contaminants live.
