How to Hook up a Swimming Pool Filtration System

- Image via Wikipedia
I couldn’t find any type of diagram that I could send you or link but basically this is how it works. the front of the pump should connect to the pipes that come from the drain at the bottom and the skimmers from the sides of the pool. the pipe from the top of the pump goes into the filter side that says pump. and the side on the filter that says return should go into the heater inlet then plumb the outlet to the pipes that go to the pool returns jets. a good way to test your pipes is to get a drain king(rubber balloon that connects to a water hose, can find at any hardware store) and mark them return, suction, etc. if you have any doubts just call a local pool company that does service work and they can do it for you or come out and show you how, for a little money of course. I’ve been doing pool work for 6 years if you have any other questions give me a buzz. I’m located in Louisiana, Lafayette area, if your close.
